Clean Lines, full living on edna Street
At 643 Edna, a young family's new beginning called for a home reimagined from the bones up — quite literally lifted onto cribbing so the earth beneath could be excavated for a new garage. Inside, the entire living area was reopened and rethought, its layout unfolding into bright, connected spaces built for the rhythms of a growing family.
The design draws its calm from Swedish sensibility, where the family spends summers regularly. Clean lines, warm white oak, and honest materials layered with woven texture and soft light. It's a modern hand laid gently over a traditional San Francisco home.
These photos were shot nearly a decade after the remodel finished, a tangible testament to the quality of the chosen materiality and the build.
