Aaron grew up in San Francisco, and like many builders, his first project was a treehouse. He was just a kid, but something about creating a space from scratch stuck with him.

He spent his early career working for his father’s successful business, manufacturing speakers in the car audio industry, learning how to think like an entrepreneur before earning a business degree from Sonoma State. But the pull toward building never left. After college, he found himself working backstage as a stagehand for Local 16.  Building set for SF play venues and from there, he began taking on small construction projects of his own.

What started with decks evolved into full-scale remodels, and eventually into Aaron Gordon Construction: a company known for tackling some of the city’s most complex, high-end residential builds with care, craftsmanship, and integrity.

Through his involvement in NARI and the local building community, Aaron met Bill Johnson. They quickly recognized a shared philosophy, not just about quality construction, but about enjoying the process of honing excellence. The two went on to co-found 415 Remodeling, one of San Francisco’s earliest design-build firms created specifically for homeowners looking for a seamless, integrated remodeling experience.

Today, Aaron leads both companies in complementary stride; AGC for large-scale custom homes, and 415 Remodeling for personalized, design-forward remodels, each shaped by the same core values: transparency, excellence, and real human connection.

On weekends, Aaron chases the sun. You’ll find him out on the houseboat with his family or laying the next beam on the compound he’s building himself outside of the city. He’s a true craftsman at heart, not just of homes, but of businesses and lasting relationships that continue to shape the walls of the city he calls home.
